Developing and Growing the Health & Care Workforce

At 3Sixty Care we are passionate about developing and growing the health and care workforce. Primary Care has much to offer undergraduate and apprentice learners and we see our role as enabling our experienced workforce to focus upon teaching and supervising learners, while we deal with the day to day administration and coordination required to give students and apprentices an excellent learning experience.

In 2017 our first cohort of medical students from Leicester Medical School began their primary care placements with of our member practices. 3Sixty Care takes a lead role in planning and coordinating placements and manages the relationship with the medical school. This has enabled more practices to get involved with undergraduate education as it enables them just to focus on delivering great education and practical placements whilst all the administrative work, student accommodation and pastoral support is dealt with by us.

In 2020 3Sixty Care were asked to lead the development of Northamptonshire Care Primary Care Training Hub on behalf of all general practices and GP Federations in Northamptonshire. We have worked closely with partner organisations to build a team and infrastructure that coordinates and delivers education, training and development to the general practice and Primary Care Network workforce across Northamptonshire.
